LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Amazon is building a distribution center in Henderson.
The building will be located near the new Raiders practice facility.
The project has been in the works since fall of 2017 and expected to be finished sometime in 2020.
Kathleen Richards with the City of Henderson gave 13 Action News the following statement on Friday:
Amazon is working with Panattoni Development to build a fulfillment center in west Henderson. The City is excited to welcome one of the largest e-commerce and technology companies on the planet to the community, bringing quality jobs and helping to strengthen and diversify southern Nevada’s economy. Amazon’s investment in Henderson makes our city even more attractive to similar high-caliber companies looking to relocate or expand to our area.
