Thousands of folks are heading to Rachel this weekend for Alienstock.
The tiny town is situated at 4,800 feet and that translates to much colder nighttime temperatures than we're used to here in Las Vegas (where the elevation is closer to 2,000 feet).

A trough of low pressure will exit the west on Friday and that means quiet weather this weekend with fairly calm conditions.
Here's the current forecast for Rachel this weekend:
- Friday: AM low 36°, PM high 69°. Sunny, north wind 5-15 mph.
- Saturday: AM low 39°, PM high 74°. Sunny, variable wind 5-15 mph.
- Sunday: AM low 41°, PM high 78°. Mostly sunny, southwest wind 10-20 mph.
