Affordable housing in Las Vegas is a problem

Las Vegas is facing a shortage of affordable housing according to a new study by the National Low Income Housing Coalition.

In fact, Las Vegas is the worst city in the nation for people who need an inexpensive place to live.

According to the study, there are only 12 affordable homes for every 100 households classified as "extremely low income."

Families who are classified as extremely low income have a total income of approximately $24,000 per year.

People in Orlando, Florida, are pretty much in the same boat.

The best cities to find affordable housing are Boston and Pittsburgh.
