Multiple casualties are being reported after a shooting at a community college in Oregon. Thirteen people are dead, according to KTLA-TV Channel 5.
Sheriff John Hanlin with the Douglas County Sheriff's Department said during a live press conference that the shooter is dead.
Oregon Gov. Kate Brown says that the shooter was a 20-year-old man. The shooter is dead. Although there was an exchange of gunfire with law enforcement, it's not clear if he was shot by the police or killed himself.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Department says that they responded to reports of a shooting at the college at approximately 10:30 a.m.
