LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — It looks like all the snowfall this year is good news for Lake Mead.
The winter's snowpack runoff should help the reservoir according to a newly-released study from the Bureau of Reclamation.
Snow in the upper Colorado River basin is about 130% above average.
Lake Mead's elevation is predicted to be almost 10 feet above what is considered a shortage.
The Reclamation Commissioner expressed caution saying one good year cannot erase two decades of severe drought.
