NEVADA (KTNV) — Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford helped kicked off the first Public Health Cannabis and Vaping Summit.
The 62 presenters included experts from the CDC and public health officials from Las Vegas and across the country.
They said their goal is to achieve a solid cannabis and vaping action plan for Nevada.
"I can not stress enough how important it is for our youth to have an understanding and awareness about their health and the impact of their choices. They are after all, our future," Ford said.
The summit is aimed at healthcare providers, treatment providers and schools.
