LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — It’s a typical Friday night at Moon Doggies Bar and Grill in Las Vegas. Inside the crowd is just getting warmed up, but bartender and manager Jennifer Paquin is already looking ahead to Saturday,

"We have a lot of people that are actually calling before the games to come down and see if we have any specials going on,” Paquin said.

It’s fight night at the MGM Grand as Manny Pacquiao defends his title against Adrien Broner. And just an hour after theystep into the ring, the Vegas Golden Knights take the ice against the Pittsburgh Penguins. And at Moon Doggies, it’s lots of bellies up to the bar, eyes glued to the television and lots of pours for Jennifer who expects to make more than her usual haul in tips.

"They are definitely more generous,” she said.

People crowd the bar to enjoy the camaraderie of watching the events with a group

"It could fluctuate anywhere from like 100 plus dollars more,” she said. “I'm talking just tips. That's not specific revenue for the bar."

So if you are planning to join any number of watch parties at places like Moon Doggies, you should know they will have specials on drinks and food. But arrive early and calling ahead is a good idea.

And while Jennifer welcomes the extra cash she's going to be cheering right along with you.

“Don't get me wrong. We have other things coming to town now, but the Golden Knights are our heart. So hashtag Vegas strong!"
