UPDATE DEC. 5: The Clark County coroner has identified the baby who stopped breathing while in dad's bed as 9-month-old Cayden Triggs.
ORIGINAL STORY
An infant in northwest Las Vegas stopped breathing while sleeping in the bed with its father around 4:16 p.m.
The incident occurred in the 2200 block of Torrey Pines Drive, near Smoke Ranch Road.
Emergency personnel performed CPR on the 9-month-old child and transported the baby to Summerlin Hospital. The baby was later pronounced dead.
