The Nevada Department of Corrections reports that 81-year-old inmate Daniel C. Richmond died in the Regional Medical Facility at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center on Saturday around 6:47 p.m.
Richmond was serving 20 years to Life in Prison for sexual assault with a victim under 16.
An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death. Next of kin have been notified.
