A 6-year-old has died in an apparent drowning Monday evening.
The incident was reported around 7:10 p.m. in the 2500 block of Monte Carlo Drive, near Torrey Pines Drive and Smoke Ranch Road.

Police said there was a Fourth of July party, where the child was found unresponsive in the pool.
The Clark County coroner has identified the girl as Jael McKnight from North Las Vegas. The official cause of death is still pending.
