LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — On Thursday Assemblyman Steve Yeager is running 58 kilometers to raise money and honor the 58 people who died on the night of the shooting.

He will carry a baton with all 58 names. The money raised will go to the Vegas Strong Resiliency Center's Survivor Resilience Fund.

Assemblyman Yeager plans on running by the Las Vegas police stations and fire stations along The Ttrip, the Heartfulness sculpture outside the Fashion Show Mall and the Healing Garden.

He said he wants to honor not only the victims but also all the first responders.

As of around 8 a.m., Las Vegas Sheriff Joe Lombardo updated the death toll to include two recent deaths connected to the shooting. The official death toll is now 60, up from 58.
