An inmate from High Desert State Prison died at a Las Vegas hospital this week.
The Nevada Department of Corrections reported around 5 p.m. Tuesday, 52-year-old James Delwin Thomas died at Valley Hospital.
Thomas had been in prison since June 16, 2014, and was serving 22 months to 8 years for burglary in Clark County.
The Clark County coroner responded and an autopsy is being scheduled.
After an exhaustive search, we were unable to the contact or notify next of kin and are asking the public for assistance.
