Wednesday marked 38 years since the deadly MGM Grand fire.
At least 85 people died and more than 700 were injured in the Nov. 21, 1980 fire at the MGM Grand, which is now Bally's.
The fire started in a deli on the casino floor and spread upward in the hotel.
The fire, along with the Las Vegas Hilton fire three months later, led to stricter fire regulations in Clark County.
