A 4-year-old child was hit by a black Acura around 1:51 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Park.
The child was bleeding from the nose and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Reports at the scene indicate that the family of the child got into a fight with the driver at the scene.

An investigation by police revealed that the child exited a parked vehicle and walked into the roadway. The Acura struck the child while the driver was looking for a parking spot.
