2 suspects arrested in Pahrump casino shooting

Two people have been arrested after a shooting in a Pahrump casino.

On Jan. 9, police from the Nye County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting incident inside the Pahrump Nugget Hotel-Casino.
 
It was reported that a black adult male fired one round at a female inside the café after a verbal altercation had ensued between them. The male was then observed fleeing with another white female adult in a red vehicle.
 
The incident was witnessed by several employees and customers, as well as captured on video surveillance.
 
None of the bystanders were injured but the female victim, whose identity is being withheld, sustained a non-life threatening injury to one of her legs, She was transported to University Medical Center in Las Vegas for treatment.
 
The male suspect was identified as Lee Anthony Daniels and his female accomplice as Desiree Lewis.
 
Both have fled the area and were located in Las Vegas.
 
Arrest warrants were obtained and with the help of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department both individuals were arrested and are currently being booked into the Nye County Detention Center.
