Two shootings were reported by Las Vegas police on Tuesday afternoon. It is not believed that the shootings are related.
Police say that a man was shot in the neck on the 4200 block of Middlesex Ave. near East Washington Avenue and Lamb Boulevard. It happened around 1:15 p.m. The victim was transported to UMC Trauma. No suspects are in custody.
The second shooting was reported at 1:45 p.m. Police say a man was shot on the 5400 block of Mountain Vista, south of East Hacienda Avenue. The victim was transported to Sunrise Hospital. No suspects are in custody.
