2 people found dead behind east Las Vegas AutoZone, police say

UPDATE: Las Vegas Metropolitan Police say they suspect foul play in the deaths of two people whose bodies were found behind an east valley AutoZone on Monday night.

In a statement to media, a public information officer said a man and woman were found unresponsive near a "makeshift shelter."

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said that two people were found dead behind an east Las Vegas AutoZone Monday night.

The area of the scene is near Nellis Boulevard and Desert Inn Road, according to police.

An LVMPD public information officer noted Homicide detectives responded to the scene. Additional information was not immediately available from authorities at the time of this report.
