No injuries have been reported in a two-alarm fire near downtown Las Vegas Friday night.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue reported the fire around 8:15 p.m. in the 300 block of East Charleston Boulevard, near 3rd Street, at a three-story apartment building, which is vacant.
Firefighters said the building appeared to be used by squatters.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue estimated damage to be around $500,000.
East Charleston Boulevard was closed between Casino Center and Las Vegas boulevards while firefighters battled the blaze.
