In the days following Sunday night's shooting outside Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay resort and casino, the Las Vegas community has gone through a variety of emotions.
The ones that have stood out the most: Compassion, love, and resilience.
The hashtags "#VegasStrong" or "#LasVegasStrong" have shown the national and international response of support, but also the tangible efforts happening across Las Vegas.
From donations of food and water, hygiene products, and blood to simple acts of kindness and comfort, the local response continues to exemplify the trending phrase:
The victims' fund has raised $8.2 million! Such an incredible response from the community. Thank you Las Vegas! #LasVegasStrong pic.twitter.com/m4nLE1usH9
