Are you celebrating this Memorial Weekend? Chef Doreen Fang joins us to talk about a fun salad you can make at home that is perfect for a holiday weekend meal.

Serves - 4-6
Prep Time - 20 minutes
Total Time: 25 Minutes

Ingredients
4-6 handfuls of Mixed Green salad
½ Small red onion, very thinly julienned (add more or less, per your preference)
1 Pint Fresh Strawberries, washed, hulled, sliced into ¼” slices
1-2 cups Watermelon, ½” – 1” cubes (optional)
¾ - 1 cup Feta, crumbled
1 – 1 ½ cup Candied Pecans (or spicy candied pecans)
2 medium Avocados, peeled and diced (optional)
Brianna’s Blush Wine Vinaigrette dressing (add desired amount)
Kosher salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste

Directions
In a large bowl, add the ingredients in layers, one on top of the other, starting with the lettuce, red onions, strawberries, watermelon, crumbled feta and candied pecans. Season with salt and pepper, add dressing and toss or everyone can put on their own dressing!
