LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Nevada Highway Patrol is hosting events across the state in an effort to recruit more troopers.
Officials say the Las Vegas area is growing and they want more troopers to keep up with the population growth.
The single-day hiring event is Saturday at 7:30 a.m. and includes a fitness test, a written exam and interview panel.
The event takes place at the NHP Southern Command Headquarters on 4615 W. Sunset Road.
