LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Clark County School District is hiring for several vacant positions, and the Human Resources Division is holding hiring fairs at the beginning of March.

Applicants has a chance to visit with human resources representatives about available positions and requirements or them. Computers were available on-site to start the application process or modify an existing application.
"Here at CCSD, we are looking forward to working with prospective candidates, answering questions, and assisting with the application process," said Demetrius Johnson, the school district's executive director for recruitment and development.
"We have a number of opportunities in licensed and support professional positions," he said. "Which include teaching assistants, substitute teachers, bus drivers, and food service employees."
The district also says it is seeking licensed teachers for the critical needs areas of math, science, special education, and elementary education. And those who have a bachelor's degree in another area have an opportunity to become a licensed teacher through the Accelerated Licensure Teacher Academy.
Flexible scheduling is available, according to the district, for those seeking substitute teacher positions. Individuals who may not have a college degree, but are working toward a degree and have 60 or more college credit hours, are eligible to become a substitute teacher.
