NORTH LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Amazon announces the company is planning on hiring more than 1,300 full-time positions in North Las Vegas.
The hiring announcement is ahead of the company's launch of its 850,000 square-foot fulfillment center located in NLV.

At the facility, Amazon employees will pick, pack and ship small items to customers like books, electronics or consumer goods.
Associates will work alongside innovative technologies, including Amazon robotics that will be used daily to fulfill customer orders, according to a company spokesperson.
In addition to Amazon’s $15 minimum wage, full-time employees are immediately eligible for health benefits, 401(k), up to 20 weeks paid parental leave and a career choice program, which helps with tuition for courses relevant to a career at Amazon.
