LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Global Winter Wonderland kicks off today and the display spans more than 15 acres in the north lot of the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.
The lot features giant illuminated lanterns depicting scenes that include a Christmas holiday village and landscapes from around the world, including the seven continents.
There are tons of ways to celebrate the holidays here in the valley on a budget. From now until January there are a ton of free light displays for you to enjoy.
The conservatory at the Bellagio, Santa's Wonderland At Bass Pro and Mystic Falls Park at Sam's town all are free.

Officials say Global Winter Wonderland is a family-friendly activity that you can do with the whole family.
General admission tickets are $23 for adults and $19 for children ages 4 – 12 and seniors, plus tax and fees.
Ticket prices for Nevada residents with valid I.D. are $19 for adults and $17 for children ages 4 – 12 and seniors, plus tax and fees.
Parking is free and available onsite. Hours of operation are 5 – 11 p.m. Dec. 14 - 23, Dec. 26 – 30 and Jan. 2 – 20; and 4:30 – 11 p.m. Dec. 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1.
