Jerry Harris owns the private catering company.
He comes to your home to prepare elegant dinners, but he can also staff larger events like weddings.
But the road to success wasn't always easy.
He's worked in multiple restaurants on and off the strip eventually making his way up to sous chef.
When the pandemic hit his job was gone.
That's when he took Gold Plate Catering full time.
He says it was a blessing in disguise.
His inspiration was his mother Angela who passed away.
His goal is to one day open up a restaurant in her honor.
In addition to catering large events, Harris also specializes in private dinners and healthy meal prep services.
