An effort is underway to make the beer and brewing industry more diverse.
A study from the Brewers Association says Black people only make up 1% of craft brewery owners.
And only a small portion of those are women.
Eugenia Brown created a platform named Beer Chick LLC.
She wants to bring more women of color into the industry.
So, she started the Road to 100 initiative with the goal of certifying 100 women of color to serve beer.
Other Black brewers in the industry say its not that people of color don't enjoy craft beer.
They say it's a matter of exposure.
