LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The holiday season is in full swing and many are sitting down to enjoy hot chocolate and their favorite holiday movie.
HowToWatch.com has come out with each state's most watched holiday movie. They created a list of the top 25 holiday movies of all time and based on google trends per each state have announced their list.
Home Alone was the most popular movie with the most states this year for search dominance, but it’s mostly states east-of-the-Mississippi.
The second most popular holiday movie and one that always sparks the debate if it is a Christmas movie, Die Hard.
What holiday movie does Nevada love? The Nightmare Before Christmas is the most popular in Arizona, Nevada, California, and New Mexico all searching for it more than other holiday movies.
This could explain why Tim Burton opened his "Lost Vegas" exhibit here in Las Vegas just in time for the season.
