How you can help donate to Los Angeles fire victims

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — If you want to support the 160,000 people who evacuated their homes in response to the catastrophic wildfires in the Los Angeles area, here is a list of places to donate.

Many people in the valley have ties to Southern California and are coming up with ways to offer support to those who lost their homes over the past week.

Scripps | Southern California Wildfire Relief

Channel 13, Scripps News and the Scripps Howard Fund are teaming up to provide relief for the Southern California wildfires where it’s needed most.

  • Every dollar you give goes directly to those impacted by these devastating fires. Together, we can help rebuild lives.


World Central Kitchen

World Central Kitchen's relief team is in Southern California to support first responders and families impacted by the wildfires in the Los Angeles Area.

They are working with restaurants and food trucks to provide comforting meals.


Wildfire Relief Fund 2025

GoFundMe created a centralized hubfor all verified pages related to these wildfires in Southern California.

Funds raised will go directly to people impacted who are seeking help through GoFundMe fundraisers and to nonprofit organizations providing relief on the ground.


UNLV Athletics and American Red Cross

American Red Cross and UNLV Athletics have teamed up to host a donation drive for those affected by the fires in California.

All donors will receive two free tickets to a future UNLV Athletics event this semester.


UNLV Nursing Students

The Nursing Student Government is hosting an official donation drive on Saturday, Jan. 18th, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the UNLV Clinical Simulation Center.

In addition, we are accepting donations throughout the week leading up to the event to accommodate those who may be unable to attend on Saturday.

Items needed:

  • Hygiene products
  • Clothing
  • Non-perishable food

Good Pie

Good Pie will donate 15 percent of proceeds from sales of its "The Good Hot" pizza to the California fire victims through the Slice Out Hunger charity program.

Donations will be made from the Arts District and Henderson locations.


Vegas Strong: LA Fire Relief

This Facebook page was created by a Las Vegas local and is helping organize donation drop-offs and volunteer drives at local businesses around the valley, benefiting the LA Dream Center.

  • Lip balm

Yale Club of NV Donation Drive

Las Vegas local and Clark High School alum Grace Kang is collecting physical donations and monetary donations through her college's alumni group, the Yale Club of Nevada.

Kang lives in Santa Monica and will take back the physical donations with her when she returns to Los Angeles next week. To donate physical items, email her at gracekang.gek@gmail.com.
