LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The National Finals Rodeo officially kicks off Thursday in Las Vegas.
Organizers are expecting thousands of people from around the world to attend 10 days of events.
NFR has been hosted in Las Vegas for 34 years.
Shawn Davis, NFR general manager, said he chose to hold this event in Vegas years ago, because he saw an opportunity and a chance to bring economic growth to the city.
