The Las Vegas Monorail will be the only motorized method of transportation operating along the Las Vegas Strip for New Year’s Eve. It will operate continuously from 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31 through the entire New Year’s Day (Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020) and until 2 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020, for a total of 43 straight hours.
Locals can purchase $1 single-ride tickets at customer service booths located at every station (except the Las Vegas Convention Center) from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Dec. 31 with proof of Nevada I.D. For out-of-town guests, regularly priced tickets are $5 for a single ride and unlimited-ride passes are available for 24 hours, two days, three days and more beginning at $13.
RTC BUSES
The Regional Transportation Commission will be offering free rides on all of its transit routes on New Year's Eve. The free rides will begin at 6 p.m. and continue until 9 a.m. New Year's Day.
The free rides include express transit services between RTC operated park-and-ride facilities and partner lots located across the valley. Those celebrating New Year’s Eve can take advantage of the facilities, where it is free to park, to avoid the holiday traffic. Transit service to both the Las Vegas Strip and downtown Las Vegas is offered at the following RTC operated park & ride facilities:
· SOUTH: South Strip Transit Terminal (6675 S. Gilespie St.) via the Strip and Downtown Express (SDX) and Maryland Parkway Route 109.
· NORTHWEST: Centennial Hills Transit Center and Park & Ride (7313 Grand Montecito Pkwy.) via the Centennial Express (CX)
· WEST: Westcliff Transit Center and Park & Ride (25 S. Durango Dr.) via the Westcliff Airport Express (WAX)
In addition to free transit service, the RTC is making transit even more convenient for the holiday by adding service. In addition to the thirteen RTC routes that regularly run 24/7, several other routes will run on a 24-hour schedule or with extended hours, including the Strip and Downtown Express (SDX) service, which will run from midnight to 3:30 a.m.

The Las Vegas Coalition for Zero Fatalities is increasing efforts to eliminate impaired driving with the announcement of new partners and an unprecedented pledge of $300,000 in free ride credit for high volume consumption holidays throughout 2020. New and existing users can receive up to $5 off two rides anywhere via Lyft in Las Vegas with code “LASNYE” from Dec. 31 at 10 a.m. through Jan. 1 at 4 p.m., while supplies last.

Continuing its unprecedented performance schedule of two shows a night every night of the year, ABSINTHE will perform at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Dec. 31. Although the limited number of VIP New Year’s Eve packages are sold out, showgoers and passersby will have access to the Green Fairy Garden throughout the evening, to groove and imbibe while celebrating under the towering boughs of the ABSINTHE Electric Oak with live music starting at 8 p.m. and the Green Fairy Garden’s cash bars open until 1:30 a.m. The Green Fairy Garden offers one of the best views of The Strip’s sweeping fireworks presentation.
ALIANTE RESORT
New Year's Eve with Rhythm Nation Formed in San Francisco, Calif., Rhythm Nation is bringing their unique blend of vocal harmonies and soul rhythm section to Access Showroom as they ring in the new year with soul. The six-piece ensemble includes talented vocalists and musicians playing live, creating their signature, versatile sound.
Rhythm Nation’s performance will feature top ‘60s Motown and ‘70s disco hits from iconic groups like The Temptations and Kool & The Gang, as well as today’s greatest hits from artists like Pharrell Williams, Bruno Mars and Justin Timberlake.
Showtime is 9 p.m. Tickets start at $35 plus taxes and convenience fees.

Celebrate the New Year with The Kitchen at Atomic and Atomic Liquors! The Kitchen is open for the holiday offering their recently debuted “Fallout” happy hour menu. Guests will enjoy $7 cocktails, $5 wine and $6 draft beer. Delectable small plates include some of Chef Jackson Stamper’s most popular menu items which range from $8-$12. A champagne or Miller High Life toast is available at both Atomic Liquors and The Kitchen at Atomic at midnight.
BEER PARK and CHATEAU NIGHTCLUB & ROOFTOP
Looking to toast the New Year’s with a rooftop party? BEER PARK and Chateau Nightclub & Rooftop at Paris Las Vegas will come together to host a massive rooftop bash on Tuesday, Dec. 31. The party will include a premium open bar from 9 p.m. to midnight and complete access to BEER PARK and Chateau.

Cabo Wabo Cantina, located inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, will toast to 2020 with an unforgettable Strip-side patio party, complete with unobstructed views of Las Vegas’ New Year’s Eve fireworks display. General admission to the patio is priced starting at $200 per person, which includes an all-you-can-drink beverage package and patio access.
VIP access to the patio is also available, priced starting at $500 per person, which includes front-and-center seating, an all-you-can-drink beverage option and a three-course meal including the choice of one appetizer, entrée and dessert from the cantina’s regular menu.
The LOFT, the restaurant’s posh upstairs event space, is also available for reservation for groups seeking a private party with the same incredible Strip view, starting at $125 per person. The festivities on the patio and loft start at 9 p.m. and are on a first come, first served basis, open all day and night.

Welcome in the new year with drinks, dancing and DJs at the largest bar - Alto Bar - with bottle service packages starting at $700 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
The award-winning Bacchanal Buffet will ring in the new year with a potato souffle with Petrossian caviar; lobster Thermador; king crab risotto; tenderloin of beef Oscar-style with crab, asparagus and bearnaise; espresso rubbed prime rib; Yorkshire pudding; and more—all in addition to the traditional offerings from the nine kitchens.
Spend New Year’s Eve with flavors of the Southwest at Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill, which will feature additional menu items for the holiday including a pork belly tostada, fire-roasted surf and turf, lobster out of the shell and chocolate caramel cake.
For an English pub experience on New Year’s Eve, guests can head to Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, which will offer a prix-fixe menu for the holiday. The specialty menu includes pan-seared diver scallops as the starter, roasted beef wellington with the choice of butter-poached lobster tail or foie gras as the entrée and sticky toffee pudding for dessert, priced at $125.
Turn up the heat this New Year’s Eve at Gordon Ramsay HELL’S KITCHEN at Caesars Palace. The restaurant invites guests to enjoy Strip-side views and specialty multi-course menus featuring caviar, lobster risotto, the famed beef Wellington and sticky toffee pudding. The New Year’s Eve menu is priced at $220 per guest or $315 with a wine pairing. There will also be a Gala menu available throughout the evening featuring an additional course, priced at $295 per guest, $415 with a wine pairing and $465 with a prestige wine pairing.
MR CHOW will round out 2019 with a three-course menu featuring celebratory dishes such as golden nugget water dumplings, ma mignon, white lobster and more. The modern Beijing-cuisine restaurant will begin the first seating at 6 p.m., priced at $95 per person, and the second seating will begin at 9:30 p.m., priced at $130 per person. Guests may also select the suggested Champagne pairing for an additional $160 per person. Reservations can be made by calling (702)731-7888.
Old Homestead Steak House will offer a prix-fixe menu on New Year’s Eve featuring luxurious items such as smoked salmon and caviar parfait, surf and turf and a holiday sundae with gold specks and hot “liquid gold.” The New Year’s Eve menu will be priced at $200, and guests may choose to partake in a celebratory toast with Louis XIII Cognac de Rémy Martin, beginning at $50.
Rao’s will get in on the New Year’s Eve festivities by offering a three-course, prix-fixe menu featuring signature Italian flavors, priced at $98 person. The holiday menu includes selections such as baked clams, linguini carbonara, penne vodka, veal piccata, porcini risotto and more. Guests may choose to complement their meal with the suggested wine pairing for an additional $45 per person. Additional à la carte sides and menu items will also be available for the holiday.
Restaurant Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace will offer a specialty menu on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day featuring multiple courses and priced at $550 per person. Selections will include coco beans and foie gras terrine, octopus in cold steam, roasted Maine lobster, Savoy’s famous artichoke and black truffle soup, grilled Japanese wagyu and more. The award-winning restaurant offers prime views of the Strip and New Year’s Eve fireworks with its floor-to-ceiling windows and terrace seating.
Take in the famed Las Vegas Strip fireworks show with prime views from the Terrace of OMNIA Nightclub. Harrah’s Piano Bar’s party will feature great music and spectacular Strip views. For a front row view of fireworks, guests can head to Ruth’s Chris Steak House at Harrah’s Las Vegas. The restaurant will offer a specialty prix-fixe menu with decadent dishes for $135 per person or $230 for two people.

Drai’s Nightclub at The Cromwell will host a star-studded, five day celebration to ring in 2020 from Friday, Dec. 27 to Tuesday, Dec. 31.
DJ Franzen, a resident at Drai’s who is known as the go-to DJ for upscale private events for celebrities like Floyd Mayweather, will kick off five days of New Year’s Eve rooftop performances on Friday, Dec. 27. Trey Songz, who’s known for chart toppers such as “Bottoms Up” with Nicki Minaj, “Say Aah,” and “Heart Attack,” will perform on Saturday, Dec. 28; Meek Mill, who was announced yesterday as one of Justin Timberlake’s upcoming collaborations in 2020, will perform on Sunday, Dec. 29; and Gucci Mane, who recently announced his luxury line with couture label, Gucci, and released his new album “Woptober II,” will perform on Monday, Dec. 30.
Future, whose “King’s Dead” collaboration with Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar and James Blake was the 2019 Grammy Award winner for “Best Rap Performance,” will hit the stage on New Year’s Eve – Tuesday, Dec. 31.
