LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — In this week’s Vegas Like a Local let's go downtown and explore the Life is Beautiful festival.
Before heading downtown there are some things you'll need to know.

You will find the main entrance located near 7th Street between Fremont Street and Carson Avenue.

This phone app is a must – not only can you is there a handy map that showcases all the food, art and entertainment, but you can set up your own schedule and create push alerts so you don’t miss any of your favorite bands or shows. Google Play app or Apple App Store.
Once inside take time to look around and enjoy all the artwork. The stuff that pops right out and the art that’s hidden. Take time to enjoy and really be in the moment and see how beautiful really is.
Local faves inside the festival grounds
Atomic Liquor will be open during the festival, with a full menu and bar. Inside tip. They told me they’ll be the only location with Red Bull. There are other energy drinks available at the festival, but if you must have your wings, swing on by Atomic.
Located at the corner of Fremont and 11th, 11th Street Records is a local favorite and must-see for music fans, vinyl collectors and musicians. A perfect stop while at lib.
If you need customer service or community relations while at the festival - visit the booths set up in the John E. Carson public parking lot.
