More than 6,000 books were donated during the Summer Rise book drive.
The books will distributed to children in the valley by Spread the Word Nevada.
Summer Rise is a campaign to stop the summer slide in the Las Vegas valley.
The campaign is sponsored by America First Credit and Subaru of Las Vegas.
