KTNV will air a 30-minute coronavirus information special at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 6, instead of holding the LiveWell Health Fair that was planned for Saturday, March 21. We believe this is in the best interest of our community and is part of KTNV’s commitment to keeping the Las Vegas valley informed on the latest news and information related to the coronavirus.
Eye Care 4 Kids will participate in the 2nd Live Well Health Fair on March 21 at Boulevard Mall.

WHO WE ARE

Eye Care 4 Kids is a local nonprofit focused on providing professional vision services to underserved children in the community and their families.

Students in the Clark County School District, with a financial need, can receive a vision screening, eye exam and pair of prescription eyeglasses at no charge one time per year.

We also see adults and services include a screening, exam and single-vision prescription eyeglasses starting at $50.

Eye Care 4 Kids has three school-based clinics where we see patients by appointment as well as a Mobile Vision Clinic that travels to multiple Clark County School District schools throughout the school year. During the summer, we participate in back to school events, health fairs, etc. with the Mobile Vision Clinic. For questions or to make an appointment, please call 702.727.3525.

WHAT WE WILL PROVIDE

The Eye Care 4 Kids Mobile Vision Clinic will be at the health fair on March 21. We can provide vision screenings, eye exams and, if people need eyeglasses, they can pick out their frames on the mobile.

Eyeglasses will take about three weeks to arrive back from the lab and patients will need to pick them up from the clinic at 6150 W. Smoke Ranch Road (on the Brinley Middle School campus).

For students enrolled in Clark County School District with a financial need, there is no charge for the service, but they do need to have their student ID number at the time they are seen.

For adults, their appointment will start at $50 and, should they need a specific lens (example, bifocal, transition), there will be an additional charge. We do accept Medicaid FFS as well as Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. Appointments will be made at the event on a first come, first serve basis. We will be able to see approximately 25 patients.
