Cooling stations open during July 11-13 Excessive Heat Warning in Las Vegas area

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Due to the Excessive Heat Warning for the Las Vegas area, the following locations are opening as daytime shelter for the homeless until Sept. 30:

The Shade Tree

Due to extreme heat conditions, the following locations are open Saturday, July 11 through Monday, July 13 as cooling stations for those in need of respite from the heat.
