LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — 13 Investigates has been following the deadly fire that broke out at the Alpine Motel Apartments back in December 2019.
The latest update has dozens of people filing lawsuits against the apartments in downtown Las Vegas.

13 Action News obtained copies of the complaint filed Monday, and among those being sued are the owners of the property along with the door lock and alarms manufacturers.
The complaint alleges several violations, neglect, and owners not complying with safety standards.
This lawsuit is by the surviving fire victims, and 13 Investigates reported a previous lawsuit filed on behalf of those who did not survive for the blaze.

13 Investigates has also learned that crews have finished removing the asbestos in the building.
Currently, authorities have not brought forth any criminal charges.
