LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Seems like everything's changed in our world these days. Even a simple trip to the grocery store can be stressful.

"It’s a little bit of a panic attack before I go to the grocery store. You glove up, mask up," said Las Vegas valley local Karina Singer.

Karina has some serious concerns about grocery shopping.

"My daughter is high risk for getting this," said Singer.

She wants to take every precaution to keep her family healthy. Singer says she was thrilled to learn the house cleaning service she uses, is now offering grocery delivery.

"They do a good job of texting pictures to make sure that everything matches the way I wanted," she said. "So it was a really great experience."

The owner of Superb Maids says the idea came to her while talking to some of her older clients.

"They were sharing their angst about being trapped at home," said owner Elena Ledoux. "Then it struck me, who better to go than our staff who’s already mobile?"

You pay for the employee's time: $40 per hour. Clients with medical issues keeping them at home, Superb Maids provides the service for free. But groceries aren't the only new service they're providing.

"We are sanitizing, disinfecting the home," said Ledoux.

"That’s what our client base needs right now," she explained. "That’s what the community needs."

Singer says she's planning to book the sanitizing service for her home. As for the grocery delivery, after her first experience went so well, she says she's definitely going to do that again.

"Gives me peace of mind to see that they are going to do the shopping for me," said Singer.
