According to the Los Angeles Times, L.A. will host the 2028 Summer Olympic Games.
Los Angeles Times cited an unnamed source close to the negotiations in their report early Monday. This would most likely mean that the 2024 Summer Games will be awarded to Paris.
The Olympics were previously held in Los Angeles in 1984. The last time the Summer Olympics were held in the United States was 1996 in Atlanta, the Winter Olympics were held in Salt Lake City in 2002.
The International Olympic Committee is expected to release an official announcement before the end of the day.
