Las Vegas has made it onto another list and we didn't do so bad this time.
According to WalletHub, Las Vegas ranked No. 8 in its list of Best Big Cities to Live In.
WalletHub’s analysts compared the 62 largest U.S. cities based on 50 key indicators of attractiveness.
The city's highest ranking was for Quality of Life. Las Vegas scored a 3 for that indicator. Analysts considered average number of hours worked per week, commute time, number of parks/playgrounds, number of bars and coffee shops, number of museums and movie theaters, sports-fan friendless and weather to determine the score.
We scored a 28 for Affordability (housing and cost of living), 40 for Economy (unemployment rate and debt), 46 for Education & Health (number of grads and life expectancy), and 24 for Safety (crime rate and number of cops).
The worst big city to live in, according to WalletHub, is Detroit, Michigan.
