Another group of World War II veterans made their way to Washington, D.C., this weekend.
Action News was at McCarran International Airport on Friday morning to see them off. They returned on Sunday afternoon.
The veterans traveled to the nation's capital to visit the memorials that are dedicated to the men and women who have sacrificed their lives for this country.
The special trip was organized by a nonprofit organization named Honor Flight. The entire trip was provided to the veterans free of charge.
Many of the veterans have never had the chance to visit the memorials and it can be a very emotional experience for them.
