Faith Lutheran students volunteered with 24 local charities and schools as part of their annual middle school service event.
20 students played games and painted murals with veterans Friday morning.
Volunteer projects also included packing backpacks and hygiene items for local homeless youth nonprofit Project 150, to dancing and crafting with seniors at the Lied Senior Center, to cleaning stalls and feeding rescue animals at Horses4Heroes to preparing Thanksgiving baskets at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission.
