Ethel M® Chocolates celebrates Valentine’s Day with a stunning light display. More than 200,000 pink, red, white and purple lights brilliantly illuminate the three-acre botanical garden in honor of the holiday. Ethel M Chocolates is offering a 14-piece Like Box, 28-piece Love Box and 46-piece Forever Box. The boxes contain solid white, milk and dark chocolate hearts, alongside pieces filled with lemon, caramel, peanut butter and other Ethel M favorites. Ethel M also has chocolate-covered strawberries, a Bearington teddy bear, and Valentine's Day baskets. 
 
Goodwill wants you to dump your ex's stuff at one of their 40 donation locations Feb. 8 through 14. It will be the 5th year for the "Dump Your X's Stuff" donation drive. Every donor during this special anti-Valentine’s Day donation drive will receive a special “I Dumped My X’s Stuff” sticker to proudly wear and announce independence. By turning ill-will into Goodwill, donors can turn break ups into opportunities for local Nevadans. 
 
ROCKIN' JUMP LAS VEGAS -- FEB. 13
Rockin' Jump Las Vegas will celebrate its grand opening with a Valentine's Day-themed carnival extravaganza from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 13. There will be face painters, balloon artists, a colorful heart archway, a "surprise" flash mob experience led by professional B-boys, Bailrok and Perris. The park will also make a $1,000 donation to the American Heart Association's "Go Red Por Tu Corazon." Rockin' Jump is the ultimate jump experience, featuring wall-to-wall trampolines, a jump pit with a stunt air bag, two trampoline dodge ball courts, a three-story climbing rock tower and more.
 
Sail around the 320-acre Lake Las Vegas on a luxury yacht from the Lake Las Vegas Marina. Cost is $30 per person. Includes complimentary sweets from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and a drink. Before dinner and after dinner cruises offered.  
 
On Valentine’s Day, Rockhouse is throwing a middle finger to love with an “Anti-Valentine’s Day Party” on Feb. 14. Guests can get the party started with 50 percent off 100-oz cocktail bowls. Cocktail options include “Sweet Emotions” -- whipped vodka with Triple Sec, orange juice and Sprite and “Rock Me Like A Hurricane” with Bacardi O, Bacardi Coconut, amaretto, grenadine, orange juice and lime. 
 
Round up your girlfriends and head to Galentine's Day on Feb. 12 at Tivoli Village. The event will kick off at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 12 with champagne, snacks, and a movie screening of "Bridesmaids." Hosted by Kayla from 98.5 KLUC and Heather Collins from MIX 94.1. Cost is just $10 and supports The Just One Project, a local nonprofit which engages the community to go out and volunteer in easy and simple ways. Before and after the movie the hosts will raffle off prizes. Additionally every guest will get a gift to take home after the festivities.  
 

MARRIAGE CAN BE MURDER -- FEB. 11-14
The interactive, quirky comedy/mystery at D Las Vegas is perfect for date night or with friends. The show is offering a special package in honor of Valentine's Day. The "killer" date package includes a glass of champagne, a rose, and a box of chocolates, three-course meal, and show tickets for $74.98. In addition, a special "killer date" brunch show has been added on Feb. 14. Guests have the option to upgrade tickets to include a $20 bottomless mimosa or Bloody Marys, muffins, yogurt parfait, choice of quiche or French toast, bacon and hash browns. Doors open at noon. There will also be a show at 3 p.m. Tickets include glass of champagne, rose and box of chocolates. A portion of the ticket sales will benefit the American Heart Associatioin. DEFENDING THE CAVEMAN -- FEB. 14
There will be a special Valentine's Day show at 4 p.m. on Feb. 14. "Defending the Caveman" at the D Las Vegas is all about relationships and the differences between men and women.

 
SPECIAL STAMP
The United States Postal Service has issued a new stamp just for Valentine's Day. The design was created by Yulia Brodskaya, one of the best in the world at the obscure art of quilling. She created a stunning 3-D piece of artwork for the special stamp using just paper and glue. The heart shape in the center is made from paper strips of appealing, eye-catching bright colors surrounded by white paper swirls. The background is white with shadows cast by the dimensional pieces of quilled paper.  Click here for information about ordering. 
 
DINING
 
The Valentine's Day tasting menu will be available from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Feb. 14 and will feature choices of chilled foie gras terrine, porcini mushrooms & parmesan bisque or greens and herb salad; prime beef carpaccio, seared scallop or pumpkin gnocchi alla romano; filet of beef, chicken breast, veal Wellington, salmon trio or pan-toasted tempeh; and strawberry and rose sorbet or red velvet cheesecake. Cost is $165 per person.  
 
America will offer prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes and French green beans for a special price of $16.95 between Feb. 12 and 14.
 
The six-course menu by Executive Chef Chris Bulen will feature pear and roquefort salad; tomato and celery root soup; choice of lobster sausage, duck pot pie or artichoke tortellini; choice of rib-eye, pan roasted poussin breast, seared diver scallops or roasted carrot risotto; and red velvet cheesecake. Cost is $155 per person.  
 
three-course dinner including an artichoke salad, chocolate fettuccine in a shrimp champagne cream sauce, and white chocolate raspberry cheesecake, priced at $38. 
 
The Sweetheart Special for Two includes 6 fried chicken tenders with a small mashed potatoes and gravy, small corn and bacon and two milkshakes. Cost is $30.
 
Three-course dinner featuring choice of chilled shellfish or French onion soup; choice of wood-grilled filet or pan-seared diver scallops; and choice of molten chocolate-peanut butter cake or pot de creme trio. Cost is $95 per person. Wine pairing available for $55 per person. A four-course dinner for $135 per person ($75 wine) will feature choice of hearts of romaine salad or lobster bisque; choice of thinly sliced sirloin or crispy rock shrimp; choice of wood-grilled filet "Oscar" or Maine lobster stuffed cod or crispy skin chicken; and choice of molten chocolate-peanut butter cake or raspberry shortcake. 
 
The three-course prix-fixe menu will feature a choice of mango salad or creamy vegetable soup; choice of sauteed shrimp, a 10 oz. bone-in pork chop or 7-oz. filet mignon; and choice of fresh strawberries with whipped cream or churros drizzled with chocolate raspberry sauce, The restaurant will also offer an add-on cocktail option. Cost is $35 plus $15 for the cocktail-pairing option. 
 
DOM DEMARCO'S PIZZERIA -- FEB. 14
Dom DeMarco's Pizzeria is offering half-off sparkling bottles and house-made cannoli with all dinners for two on Feb. 14.
 
A three-course meal for $17.99 that includes a salad or soup, 12-ounce T-bone with shrimp scampi, baked potato and winter vegetables, and a Mason jar strawberry shortcake for dessert. 
 
A special prix-fixe menu for $75 per person will feature strawberry gazpacho and kusshi oyster or beef carpaccio; lobster ravioli with chanterelle mushrooms or small veal ravioli with a parmigiano cheese reduction; 5-ounce seared filet mignon with a butter-poached Maine lobster; and coconut panna cotta with passion fruit sauce. 
 
Choice of spicy tuna or lobster bisque; choice of baked scallops, baked burrata or BLT wedge salad; choice of a 40-oz. wood-grilled porterhouse or whole salt baked branzino or the surf & turf; and sweets for two. Cost unknown.
 
A pre-Valentine's Day dinner will be offered on Feb. 9 at FORTE. Cut and Taste chef partners Jeremy Jordan, Adam Pusateri and Alex Barnett are creating an epic pork feast inspired by Valentine’s Day hues of red, pink and purple. Some specialties to be featured are Pigs in a Pillow with ball park mousse, Lollipop Pork Spare Rib Schnitzel with apple sauerkraut and Vanilla-Bacon Custard for dessert, topped with compressed apple. Cost is $65 per person. 
 
The special meal will feature tenderloin tournedos with potato and parsnip puree and Brussels sprouts or Arctic sea bass with red cabbage pancetta risotto and a chocolate raspberry creme brulee. Cost is $50 per person.
 
If looking for an alternative to a restaurant, this might be a good idea. Gobble delivers 10-minute gourmet dinner kits to your door. The Valentine's Dinner Date Box includes an appetizer of Dungeness crab and avocado brusnetta, Bibb lettuce salad, grass-fed filet mignon with asparagus, Ghirardelli chocolate-covered strawberries, a red wine sangria mix (no alcohol) and themed tea candles and matchbox. Serves 2. Cost is $85. Orders must be placed by Feb. 9 at 11:59 p.m. for delivery on Feb. 12. 
 
The special meal will feature carne asada rib-eye served with chipotle sweet potato mash and topped with portobello mushrooms or pumpkin seed crusted sea bass with cilantro rise and grilled broccolini. Cost is $16.95. 
 
The prix-fixe menu will be offered between 6 and 10 p.m. Feb. 13. Cost is $98 per person. 
 
HOFBRAUHAUS -- FEB. 14
The special Valentine's Day menu will include tomato cream soup, a tower for two featuring shrimp linguini, grilled chicken breast and potato pancakes with smoked salmon, and mousse au chocolate with strawberry salad.
 
Specials include a his and hers combo platter with tuna, halibut, oyster and salmon for $26.
 
The holiday special features large shrimp, sea scallops, lobster and mushrooms in a white wine cream sauce for $39.  
 
Choice of Maryland blue crab and Russian osetra vaciar or lobster and avocado salad; choice of sauteed foie gras with mango or carnarolli risotto with white truffles; choice of Mediterranean sea bass, diver scallops, venison, or a Wagyu Kobe beef strip loin; and choice of chocolate ball or a raspberry parfait. Cost is $155 per person. Wine pairing available for $88. 
 
Medley Buffet will also also serve a Valentine’s Day-inspired spread, including a champagne brunch, prime rib, seafood martinis, assorted sushi, and assorted ‘lovers’ desserts. 
 
Three-course Valentine’s Day dinner for $75 per person featuring a choice of ginger crab soup or Asian pear and prosciutto micro-herb salad; a 7-ounce coco-crusted filet with butter pouched lobster tail in a white wine butter sauce; and a white chocolate and strawberry napoleon with a rose honey, lemon and blueberry sauce for dessert.   
 
Essence and Herbs, Luna Rossa, Sonrisa Grill and Sunset & Vines will offer special prix-fixe dinners on Feb. 14. 
 
Papa Murphy's is once again celebrating with heart-shaped pizzas. The HeartBaker Pizza features traditional red sauce, whole milk mozzarella cheese, and premium pepperoni slices.  
 
Specials include a chocolate almond cake with raspberry mascarpone cream and vanilla gelato for $25.
 
Special offerings include hamachi sashimi ($26), filet mignon ($72)l and Valrhona chocolate mousse ($16). 
 
RA Sushi is offering a three-course, prix-fixe meal including an appetizer, entree and dessert. First course choices include port gyoza, spring rolls, tootsy maki rolls and garlic ponzu yellowtail; second course choices include Viva Las Vegas roll, tunacado, ultimate shrimp tempura roll, spicy chicken teriyaki udon, and chicken teriyaki udon; and choice of cinnamon tempura gelato and coconut creme brulee. 
 
The menu will feature baked brie ($11.95), lobster and mushroom pasta ($24.95), smothered filet ($32.95), prime rib carvery ($27.95), and chocolate truffle cookies and strawberries ($6.96).
 
The five-course meal by Executive Chef Bruno Riou will feature marinated sea bream, artisanal linguine, seared diver sea scallops, roasted duck breast and a cream puff. The prix-fixe dinner will cost $120 per person. Couples are invited to continue the night at Skyfall Lounge. 
 
Buy a shake on Feb. 14 and your date will get one free! Take advantage of the flavor of the week Banana Caramel ($5.59 for two) or let the team whip up one of the many standard frozen custard flavors ($5.29 for two) including Vanilla, Chocolate, Salted Caramel, Black & White, Strawberry, Peanut Butter or Coffee Fair Shake.
 
Specials at the Strip House include chili-roasted lobster ($24); all-natural, grass-fed 8-oz. filet mignon ($56); black winter truffle gnocchi ($18); red velvet for deux with whipped cream cheese frosting ($18); and a special sweetheart cocktail featuring Tanqueray gin ($15).  
 
TGI FRIDAY'S -- NOW THROUGH FEB. 14
TGI Friday;s is offering half-priced bottles of wine through Feb. 14 in honor of Valentine's Day.
 
Specials include oysters tango or spice-butter poached Japanese Wagyu carpaccio with wild mushroom custard for $30. Champagne pairings for $23 and $30 respectively. 
 
The Salted Lime will feature a special two-course meal for two, with beef and shrimp fajitas and fixings, along with Mexican chocolate coconut flan and rosewater syrup for $25. 
 
The Menu will feature choice of mixed field greens or creamy tomato basil soup, chateaubriand and garlic shrimp with asparagus, baby carrots, sauteed mushrooms and duchess potatoes; and half a dozen chocolate-dipped strawberries and chocolate lovers martini. Cost is $75 per person.

CUT is offering a special meal for $120 per person. Choices include Kobe steak sashimi, warm Maine diver scallop gratin, maple glazed pork belly, Maryland blue cran and Maine lobster cocktail, 8-ounce filet mignom, 14-ounce petit New York sirloin, American "Kobe Style: beef, sauteed Dover sole, Big Eye tuna steak, roasted Maine lobster, creamed spinach, crispy tempura onion rings, pasion fruit cheesecake and chocolate mousse (not a complete list).

ROSES FROM AMAZON PRIME -- FEB. 10-14
Amazon Prime Now delivery service is offering one-hour delivery of roses from Feb. 10 to 14. In Las Vegas, Prime Now is available from 10 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week. Two-hour delivery is free and one-hour delivery is available for $7.99. All Prime members can download the Prime Now app, available on iOS and Android devices, and will be notified when the service is available in their zip code.
 

UBER AND CHOCOLATES -- FEB. 14
Ethel M Chocolates and Uber have teamed up to surprise some passengers on Feb. 14. Ethel M’s Endless Love heart-shaped milk chocolates will be randomly placed in Uber cars to “surprise and delight” Uber riders in Las Vegas. While Ethel M is providing the chocolates at no cost, the locally based chocolatier encourages recipients to make a donation to the Children’s Heart Foundation, a local non-profit organization founded in 2001 that helps make a difference in lives of children with heart conditions and their families. Donation information will be included with each heart-shaped box of chocolates.

BOB MARLEY WEDDING PACKAGES FROM HARD ROCK CAFE -- FEB. 14
Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas Strip is making this Valentine’s Day one to remember for couples who declare their unending love for one another with the One Love Bob Marley Signature Series Wedding Package. The package includes Bob Marley Signature Series t-shirts, minister, photographer, cake, ceremony, reception and all-inclusive stay at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Punta Cana. Couples can register in advance to purchase the package for $100. Only 10 will be sold. After the packages are sold, couples can purchase the One Love package without the trip for only $50 and received two t-shirts and a private wedding ceremony.
