It would be pretty tough not to find a great taco in Las Vegas.
Oct. 4 is National Taco Day and several local restaurants will be offering special deals in honor of the unofficial holiday. We also have a couple of suggestions of other places that just have darn good tacos.
Hussong's Cantina is celebrating with $2 solo tacos, choice of chicken or barbacoa, all day. This special offer is available at both Las Vegas locations, including The Shoppes at Mandalay Place and Boca Park, while supplies last.
Border Grill at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace is celebrating their Monday Madness menu on Oct. 4. The menu features all-you-can-eat tacos for $20 and blanco margarita pitchers for $20.
Cabo Wabo Cantina will celebrate National Taco Day with signature tacos like the carne asada tacos, featuring juicy grilled steak, salsa arbol, avocado, corn tortillas, cilantro and onions, priced at $15.95, and the Baja-style, grilled fish tacos, made with freshly grilled Mahi Mahi, flour tortillas, cabbage, chipotle crema, fresh tomatoes, cilantro, onion and lime, priced at $16.95
Pancho’s Mexican Restaurant, located in Downtown Summerlin, will give guests something to taco ‘bout with $2.50 taco specials from 5 to 9 p.m. in the restaurant’s festive cantina. Guests will have a choice between shredded chicken, shredded beef or ground beef filling, stuffed in a crispy, golden taco shell and topped with diced tomatoes, lettuce and shredded cheese, priced at $2.50 each.
El Dorado Cantina is celebrating National Taco Day and the launch of their new signature tacos (the varieties listed below) with $1 tacos (limit 5 per person) from 2-6 p.m.! Not valid for to-go orders.

Pinches Tacos at The Gramercy is celebrating National Taco Day with $2 tacos and $3 Dos XX. Taco choices include chicken, marinated pork, Angus beef, fish, shrimp, beef tongue and vegetarian.
Green Leaf's Beyond Great Salads inside Las Vegas Premium Outlets North is celebrating National Taco Day with a FREE Baja street taco with a $5 purchase on Oct. 4. Limit of one per customer and cannot be combined with any other offer.
The World of Beer inside Galleria at Sunset mall opened recently and one of their not-so-traditional bar offerings are the Sriracha Lime Shrimp Tacos. The tacos feature beer-battered shrimp topped with freshly made roasted tomato & corn salsa, shredded lettuce, avocado, fresh cilantro & queso fresco, served in lightly grilled tortillas with a Sriracha Lime Aioli. They go great with one of the many IPAs that the World of Beer offers. Cost is $7 for 2 tacos or $10 for 3.
Viva Mercado's is celebrating National Taco Day by offering three "gordo" tacos filled with slow-cooked birria-style beef topped with shredded lettuce, pico de gallo and Queso fresco. The tacos come with a side of their award-winning salsa costena. The special will be available all day with $10.95.
Tacos & Beer is going all out for National Taco Day. In addition to offering a special on their chicken mole taco with pickled habanero red onions, they will be tapping one of the most sought-after beers on the market -- KBS (Kentucky Breakfast Stout) by Founders Brewery. You might also want to check out their Happy Hour specials from 3 to 6 p.m. or stop in later Tuesday night for Techno Taco Tuesday starting at 10 p.m. The most popular tacos at Tacos & Beer are the carne asada tacos and pork al pastor tacos. But, don't limit yourself to those choices. They have 17 other amazing tacos to choose from.
The most popular taco at Serrano'sMexicanGrill is the carne asada taco. The taco features 2 corn tortillas filled with marinated steak, onions and cilantro. Customers can use add the salsa of their choice from the restaurant' salsa bar.
Taco lovers love the carne asada tacos at Abuela's Tacos. The asada is grilled and then diced and is served on handmade tortillas with a bit of beans and pico de gallo. The shrimp tacos are also quite popular. Tacos are priced at $2.50 each.
Tom’s Urban at New York-New York Hotel & Casino features a variety of street tacos for guests to enjoy. Highlights include choice of steak “al carbon,” carnitas, adobo chicken, butter-poached lobster & shrimp, mahi-mahi, along with recent additions including its pork belly banh mi and vindaloo chicken – all served in your choice of corn tortillas or lettuce cups.
Tacos & Tequila at the Luxor has a unique taco. In fact, they say they are the only restaurant in Las Vegas that offers a taco like it. The Alambre taco is made with filet mignon tips that is cooked with bacon and chile poblanos. The taco, served in a fresh flour tortilla, is topped with a melted three-cheese blend and garnished with onion and cilantro. Cost is $19 for three tacos, rice and beans.
