The Gorillaz has announced its "Humanz" tour dates and they will be stopping in Las Vegas later this year.
This is the first outing in 7 years for the animated band, according to Billboard.com. The tour will begin July 8 in Chicago. They will perform here during the Life is Beautiful festival scheduled for Sept. 22 through 24. Their performance will take place on the last day of the festival.
Gorillaz will also make stops in Toronto, Boston, Philadelphia and Quebec.
The band consists of Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett. The tour will feature Albarn and Hewlett's animated creations -- Murdoc, Noodle, Russel and 2D -- joined by live musicians. They will perform both old and new material.
The new album is scheduled to be released April 28. It is the fifth studio album by the British virtual band.
