PARADE
SUMMERLIN COUNCIL PATRIOTIC PARADE
The 23rd annual Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade will feature more than 70 entries, including traditional floats, giant inflatable balloons, American military heroes, bands, musical groups and a variety of kids’ favorite storybook and cartoon characters. More than 2,500 people are participating in the parade and more than 500 volunteers from dozens of local schools and community groups are assisting with parade operations. The parade begins at the corner of Hillpointe Rd. and Hills Center Dr. in The Trails village of Summerlin. Participants travel south toward Village Center Circle, then west on Trailwood Drive. The parade ends near the corner of Trailwood Drive and Spring Gate Lane. The parade begins at 9 a.m. and ends at approximately 11 a.m.

BOULDER CITYDAMBOREECELEBRATION
The 69th annual Boulder City Damboree on July 4 will feature a pancake breakfast at 7 a.m.; flyover and parade on Colorado Street at 9 a.m.; festivities including midway booths and food and beverages in Broadbent Park at 10 a.m.; coin toss into pool at noon and games and contests; more festivities in Veterans Memorial Park at 4 p.m.; dance party with DJ Mike Pacini at 6 p.m.; and a fireworks display at 9 p.m.
CAESARS PALACE
Caesars Palace is celebrating the Fourth of July with an extravagant fireworks display on July 2. The fireworks will begin around 9 p.m. A VIP viewing party will take place at the Venus European Pool Lounge. With tickets beginning at $99, guests can enjoy an amazing view, two free drink tickets for a Tito’s Cocktail or Blue Moon, and Venus Night Swim like never before. FIREWORKS AT LAKE LAS VEGAS
The annual Independence Day celebration will take place July 2. There will be live music, a sidewalk sale, barbecue stations, live entertainment by Southern Stue and Henderson Symphony Orchestra, and a fireworks show over the lake at 9 p.m.
FIREWORKS AT COWABUNGA BAY
There will be a fireworks show at Cowabunga Bay at 9:45 p.m. July 3. The park will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. There will also be fireworks on June 30 and July 1 as part of Spectacular Slide Night.
FIREWORKS AT BASEBALL GAME
Las Vegas 51s will face the El Paso Chihuahuas on July 4. A fireworks extravaganza presented by Valley Health Systems will follow the game. An all-you-can-eat-and-drink menu will be available in the exclusing on-field party zone and there will be a hot dog eating contest and more. Tickets are $16 in advance, $17 on the day of the game.

FIREWORKS IN PAHRUMP
The annual 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular will take place at 9 p.m. July 4 at Petrack Park on Highway 160.
In addition, the Pahrump fireworks launch site will be open from 8 to 11 p.m. June 30 through July 4. All visitors who are interested in launching their own fireworks must obtain a special permit from one of the five local fireworks stores. The site is first come, first serve with a 30-minute time limit. Permits are $5 per person.
FIREWORKS AT WET'N'WILD LAS VEGAS
Wet'n'Wild Las Vegas is celebrating the Fourth of July with country music, foam parties, line dancing, BBQ, mechanical bull riding, and a fireworks display on July 1 and 2 at 8:45 p.m.
HENDERSON'S HERITAGE PARK FOURTH OF JULY PARTY
Henderson's annual Fourth of July party is moving to Heritage Park on East Racetrack Road. It will begin at 6 p.m. July 4 with live entertainment by Wildfire, food and beverage vendors, human hamster balls, bounce houses, Zippy pals, a small Ferris wheel, face painting, cornholl, hula hoops and other activities for children. It will end with an 18-minute fireworks display synched to music above the park.
LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY
The Night of Fire on July 3 will feature the first-ever Figure 8 Trailer Race, skid plate car racing and post-face fireworks. The trailer race will award special prizes for most creative decoration and most destruction for the driver who causes the most damage in addition to a $1,250 first-place winner’s check. The evening’s race lineup will be anchored by the 76-lap “Spirit of ’76” feature in the NASCAR Super Late Models division. In addition to the NASCAR Super Late Models, NASCAR Super Stocks, Grand American Modifieds and Bombers, as well as USLCI Legends, Thunder Cars and Bandolero Bandits and Outlaws, will see action. Gates open at 5 p.m.
THE PLAZA
The Plaza in Downtown Las Vegas is celebrating the Fourth of July with a special pool party and fireworks on July 1. There will be live entertainment by Flashbax ('80s tribute band), drink specials, a barbecue buffet, and the fireworks show. The party begins at 7 p.m. Drinks specials include the Firework Cocktail (comprised of Strawberry Daiquiri, Pina Colada Rum and Blueberry Lemonade Vodka) for $10. The barbecue buffet ($25 per person) will feature All-American favorites like baked beans, cornbread, watermelon, BBQ chicken, ribs, brisket, corn, roasted red potatoes, salad and apple pie. The fireworks show will begin at approximately 10:45 p.m. and will last approximately 4 minutes. Entry to the party is free. Guests must be 21 years of age or older.
ROCKETS OVER RED MESA
Mesquite celebrates the sixth annual Rockets Over Red Mesa. with a Vendor Village and DJ, followed by a live performance by the Nevada POPS Orchestra. The orchestra music continues to accompany the fireworks display at 9 p.m. Bring your own chair to the viewing area to watch the rockets light up the desert night's sky over the flat top red mesas.
ROCKETS OVER THE RIVER LAUGHLIN
There will be two fireworks shows in Laughlin. The 27th annual Rockets Over The River is happening both July 1 and July 4. The fireworks shows are free for public viewing along the entire Laughlin River Walk or any Laughlin hotel. Patriotic music will be choreographed to the fireworks and simulcast over speakers by Laughlin hotels and local radio stations.
STATION CASINOS
Station Casinos will once again celebrate the Fourth of July with fireworks at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson and Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa in Summerlin. The show will begin at 9 p.m. July 4.

Caesars Palace celebrates Independence Day Weekend with all the royalties of the empire. Yogis of all levels can get their zen on at Lululemon presents Silent Savasana free poolside yoga at Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis. Doors open at 7 a.m. and yoga begins at 8 a.m. July 1. The pool will keep the party going with a live performance by alternative-rock band Atlas Genius beginning around 4 p.m. From 9 to 11 p.m., those seeking pre-gaming entertainment can enjoy live performances by Pia Toscano and Stefano Langone at Alto Bar as part of at the Music Series presented by 1893 from the makers of Pepsi Cola.
Guests can continue to celebrate all weekend at the block party at Roman Plaza and Spanish Steps Bar featuring a live DJ, life-size games, drink specials and more beginning at 12 p.m. on both July 1 and July 2. There will be a family-friendly Fourth of July parade at noon July 1 and 2. The themed parade will consist of festive baton twirlers, drumline, flag performers, stilt walkers, b-boy dancers, hula hoop performer and patriotic cheerleaders. Following the parade, there will be a patriotic performance of the National Anthem will take place on the Fountain Stage at 12:30 p.m. The party will take on a more adult flavor during the evening hours of July 1 and 2. With live entertainment sponsored by Virgil's Real BBQ and ameriCAN Beer & Cocktails, Gloria Vivelo will perform live on Saturday and Thrillbilly will take the stage on Sunday; both show times are set for 6 to 10 p.m. Meanwhile, the LED Drumline will keep revelers pumped up between sets.
The High Roller observation wheel will be the perfect spot to see the Caesars Palace fireworks on July 2. The wheel will also be lit red, white and blue. Sundance Helicopters will be the only tour company to offer helicopter tours over the Las Vegas Strip for a bird's eye view of the Fourth of July fireworks. This Fireworks Aerial tour begins with a stretch limousine pickup from various hotels in Las Vegas. Once at Sundance Helicopters, guests will enjoy a champagne toast before being escorted onto state-of-the-art helicopters. Cost is $199 per person. The exclusive 4th of July Twilight Picnic Tour is also available. Guests will be flown to Hoover Dam and back to Las Vegas, stopping on a private bluff overlooking the valley during sunset.
