Celebrate Mardi Gras in Las Vegas

Mardi Gras is Feb. 9, but you don't have to be in the Big Easy to celebrate. There are a few events going on around town. Here's a chance to bring a little bit of New Orleans to Las Vegas.

Gourmet King Cake Freed's Bakery
Freed's Bakery's famous King's Cakes in new sizes and in three mouthwatering flavors: almond, cinnamon sugar, and sweet cheese! Every King's Cake gets sprinkled with three colors of crystal sugar and decorative beads.

Las Vegas Mardi Gras Festival
The festival will be held on February 6,2016 at the Boulevard Mall, with Cajun/ Creole food, drinks, and family fun.

Springs Preserve

Featuring live music by Howlin' King Crawdad, food from local Southern eateries, festive adult beverages, a parade, and crafts for the kids, the family-friendly Mardi Gras Vegas will bring the tastes and sounds of the Louisiana bayou and the colors and fun of Mardi Gras to the heart of the Southern Nevada desert. It's happening Feb. 6 from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. Tickets are $7.00.

Mardi Gras Masquerade
Rain Nightclub at Palms Las Vegas
Feb. 6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
The purple carpet Masquerade event will feature an open bar, food, celeb meet and greet and bottle service. All proceeds will benefit the B.E.A.S.H.E.R.O Foundation.

Lake Las Vegas Mardi Gras Festival
Lake Las Vegas - MonteLago Village is proud to announce the inaugural Mardi Gras Festival to benefit Dignity Health St. Rose Dominican Cardiac Department and Positively Arts Foundation on Saturday, February 13. Entry tickets are $5.00 (includes a complimentary beverage or a piece of chocolate for kids).

Mardi Gras Masquerade Half Marathon 10K and 5K

Come celebrate Mardi Gras with this iconic Masquerade Run! Enjoy beautiful February temperature while you run from the Equestrian Park Trailhead towards Railroad Pass Casino. Enjoy views of the Strip from a distance and dress-up in your Mardi Gras attire to have a chance to win the Mardi Gras Masquerade costume contest. New Half Marathon distance just added to this race! Feb. 6.
