Looking for love this holiday season? Hundreds of dogs and cats are waiting for you at local animal shelters and rescue groups in Nevada, where pet adoptions will be free through Saturday during Maddie's Pet Adoption Days.
All adoption fees are waived for pets going to loving new homes thanks to a grant from Dave & Cheryl Duffield Foundation, a private charitable foundation based in Lake Tahoe.
A city/government fee of $10 will apply for residents of the city of Las Vegas and the city of North Las Vegas, according to the Animal Foundation.
Participating organizations include the Animal Foundation and Nevada SPCA, along with a long list of other locations around Clark County. Check out the full list here.
