There's an allure to the lucky 7's in Las Vegas, which is why July 7, 2007, was one of the most popular days for weddings in the history of the city.
Ten years later on 7-7-17, couples from around the world are still flocking to Las Vegas for a chance to catch some of that luck.
Aimee Stephens, the Director of Marketing for Vegas Weddings, said the company typically hosts 20 weddings on an average Friday night in July. But today they had 50 pre-booked, and that's not including any walk-in couples that decide to tie the knot on a whim.
In total, that's about 1,500 people across their four locations. That number includes brides, grooms, and guests.
Stephens said that many couples are looking to save money by hosting their wedding in Las Vegas. But they also want to have a memorable ceremony.
"While we have a fast lane drive-thru, it is not our most popular venue," she explained. "Our Terrace Gazebo and our Wedding Chapel are our most popular venues. People want that beautiful experience, but at a fraction of the cost, so they can still afford to put a down payment on a house and start their life together without going into debt."
