If you haven't heard by now, actor Matt Damon is in Las Vegas to film scenes for the latest "Bourne" movie.
Damon mentioned the fact that he was headed to Las Vegas last night at the Golden Globes. Damon won a trophy for best actor in a motion picture comedy or musical for "The Martian."
Damon plays the U.S.-trained assassin Jason Bourne in the movie series. The movie began filming in September 2015 and is scheduled to be released in late July. It will be the 5th Bourne movie.
Julia Stiles returns as Bouren's love interest in the film and Tommy Lee Jones is his CIA counterpart. Vincent Cassel was selected as the movie's villain and Alicia Vikander is also starring in the thriller. The movie does not have an official name yet, according to various sources.
According to posts on social media, Damon was spotted filming on Monday afternoon at the Aria hotel-casino.

VitalVegas.com says film crews began work in Las Vegas on Jan. 6 at McCarran International Airport. They are expected to be here for a few weeks.

According to KFTV, Damon is filming a big chase scene in Nevada.
