Several Latino business owners in Milwaukee are in shock after receiving racially-charged postcards which call for the deportation of all Mexicans.
These postcards could be protected under free speech but the author may face charges if it's determined that the message threatens others.
"Sometimes there's speech that we don't like, but it's an important right, and we feel that hate speech is different and it's something that affects many groups whether it's black, Latino, or Asians," said Jaime Alvarado of Rid Racism Milwaukee.
U.S. postal officials and police are investigating. There are concerns the threats could escalate.
