This was a busy weekend for the sports books.
According to the Gaming Control Board, more than $130 million was wagered on the Super Bowl this year and the casinos kept about 10 percent of it.
Just as he did with the Kansas City Royals in the World Series, Vegas Dave walked into the Tuscany casino here today and walked out with the check for nearly $1 million.
That is just part of what Vegas Dave says he took home on the Broncos Super Bowl victory. He says he took home a total of $2.3 million.
He plays the first of his bets back in August at 14 to 1 odds.
Just as he did with the Kansas City Royals he continued to support his picks putting down more wagers on the Broncos to win the Super Bowl even after Peyton Manning got hurt mid-season.
Vegas Dave says he's taking home about $5 million in winnings in the past 90 days or so but has no plans to retire.
